Love is in the air at Fuller's

Love is definitely in the air as July 2022 has been our busiest ever month for weddings in Fuller’s pubs.

Over 60 weddings were celebrated in our beautiful pubs and hotels – with favourite spots including The Still & West overlooking The Solent in Old Portsmouth; The Mill at Elstead, Surrey, with its large garden; The Bull Hotel in Bridport on the stunning Jurassic Coast; and The White Swan in Stratford-upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare – a man who knew a thing or two about love.

We pride ourselves on the diversity of our venues that suit all styles – from rustic pubs in the countryside to historic listed buildings in the City.

Retail Director Fred Turner said: “The smaller pub wedding is proving more popular than ever, and our events team is still seeing a high volume of new enquiries coming through. Couples today are often looking for a more relaxed and informal wedding with their closest friends and families, and many Fuller’s venues can provide just that.

“This success comes outside of the existing successful wedding business in our seven Cotswold Inns & Hotels sites which already deliver hundreds of weddings each year. As a business we can do big, small, traditional, contemporary, urban, country, by the coast, in the New Forest – basically whatever sort of wedding you want, we’ve got a venue that can cater for it.”

After the last couple of years of postponements and restrictions, it's great to see weddings bouncing back stronger than ever and love still conquering all.
