The White Swan Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon
The White Swan Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon sits proudly as one of the Midlands most historic wedding venues. It oozes elegance and charm and, thanks to its sense of Tudor grandeur, makes for the perfect winter wedding venue.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a medieval market town in England’s West Midlands famous for being the birthplace of Shakespeare. A perfect location for weddings all year-round, it’s particularly charming when the town is covered in a blanket of snow.

With a license to hold civil wedding ceremonies, you can spend your entire day at The White Swan – from saying ‘I do’ to dancing the night away. The Capulet and Montague function rooms are beautifully decorated and can be used as one large space for larger weddings of up to 70 people, or two individual rooms for more intimate celebrations of love.
The wedding party and guests can also stay on-site at the historic hotel, which has played host to thousands of guests since 1560. Designed to ensure a luxurious, peaceful stay, each of the 41 unique bedrooms has enchanting original paintings and intricate wood carvings that will have you and your guests wondering if Shakespeare himself found his muse for Romeo and Juliet here.
