With couples looking for better value for money, nearly-weds are turning to venues such as outdoor marquees and even their local pub. Pretty genius if you ask us.

Intimate ceremonies
Large gatherings are so 2019 as couples have been reminded of what is most important at a wedding – marrying the person you love.
Say your ‘I do’s’ in front of up to 6 guests tucked away in the cellar at the Wykeham Arms (pictured below) or behind Bath’s oldest shop front at The Huntsman.
Get wed, just the two of you or with your very closest and leave the awkward guest list planning as a thing of the past.

Outdoor ceremonies
Before the law changed, you could only legally wed outside if there was a licensed permanent structure. Now you can wed anywhere in the grounds of a licensed venue*!

Conversational food
Of course, we can deliver a 3-course sit down meal, however, we advise that you give your guests the wow factor with a more sociable menu, such as bowl food featured at the Turk’s Head which is served while guests are standing and mingling – perfect for a larger guest list! (below)

Or go the whole hog with a grazing table followed by a spit roast which is a popular staple package at the Hampshire Hog.

Unique drinks receptions
One thing Fuller’s is guaranteed to do well is provide a great drink!
While fizz is a guaranteed crowd pleaser, we’ve all seen it before, so it’s no wonder that unique drinks receptions are on the rise. Make it memorable with portable gin carts, mocktails and bottled beer stations. Or pour your own pint behind any of our bars.
How about a garden party with a dedicated Gin Bar like the one at The Gun? This is paired with incredible views overlooking the Thames and O2 Arena.

Dramatic ceilings
Flower ceilings are all the rage. Take it one step further and swap your expensive installation for one of our architectural wonders.
The grand dome and painted mural at the Counting House is ready built ceiling décor (below)n– and it’s complimentary.

The Mill’s stunning low ceiling beams transform with foliage and can also be used as a frame for a full floral installation (below).

Statement aisles
Gone are the days of formal, symmetrical aisles in regimented lines which are straightened strictly to the perfect 90-degree angle.
Curvy is in and the Bull Hotel is showing us why with this crescent aisle in the stunning Ballroom (below).

Why not flip the narrative and have your guests walk the aisle to find you waiting like this couple at the Ship Inn, Langstone.
