Shareholder Fraud Warning

We understand that some shareholders are being targeted by fraudsters operating what is known as a “boiler room scam”. They obtain shareholder registers and then start calling shareholders, often suggesting that they have confidential information to divulge and/or implying that they are appointed by the company. They may ask you to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and will ultimately ask you for money for their services and/or attempt to take control of your shares.

The Company Secretary would like to reiterate that this activity is fraudulent and the Company has not authorised and will not, in the future, authorise any third parties to contact you about any matters relating to your Fuller’s shareholding.

Should you receive such a phone call, we strongly suggest you simply hang up on the caller. Additionally, you should never deal with any financial advisor before checking that they work for a legitimate organisation registered with the FCA. The FCA is always interested to hear about these matters and you can report any such activity by ringing 0800 111 6768 or by filling out a share fraud reporting form on their website.
