Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ealing Broadway, The Wheatsheaf has been long known as Ealing’s best kept secret – but the pub’s recent refurbishment has let the cat out of the bag.

The pub’s regulars can expect the same rustic, traditional charm of the pub, outstanding cask ales, hearty pub food and live sport on-screen – but with some exciting new additions...

What’s new at The Wheatsheaf

With a fresh lick of paint, new furniture, an eclectic new gin range and homemade thin-crust pizzas, the pub’s new Manager Harry James said he and the team are excited to be welcoming customers back to the new and improved The Wheatsheaf.

“The bar area is softer and lighter with a clean bright floor and ceiling, comfortable new furniture and a new set of televisions, whilst maintaining a lot of the classic wood that gives The Wheatsheaf its rustic charm,” Harry explained.

“We’ve added a delicious selection of fresh, homemade thin-crust pizzas, made to order by our team of talented chefs. In addition to our small plates, nachos, sandwiches and mains, we’ve created a tasty food offer for the whole family to enjoy.”

Ealing’s best sports bar

Classic ports bric-a-brac and collector’s items adorn the walls, and the popular Ealing sports pub has new and improved televisions for watching the game.

“We’ve always been proud of our live sport, and there’s no better place for a premium sports-viewing experience than our freshly refurbished and cosy local. We’ll have live sport showing throughout the week and the Rugby World Cup live later this year,” said Harry.

Feast your eyes

In addition to the pub’s new homemade thin-crust pizzas, the new menu crafted by Head Chef Tomasz Baginski features a diverse range of small plates for sharing, comforting pub food such as homemade pies, fish and chips, juicy burgers and Sunday roasts, and healthy, nutrient rich salads and sandwiches – just make sure you leave room for pudding.

Exceptional cask ales & drinks

Harry said the pub’s drinks range has also undergone exciting changes.

“Our new gin range combines London dry gins, fruity twists and specialty junipers from around the world and combined with a wide range of flavoured tonics.”

Beer enthusiasts are well catered for, with a range of cask ales and keg beer, including cider and stout options. There’s an expertly curated wine list, too, with local and international varieties, and a great range of non-alcoholic drinks, including coffee for those in need of a caffeine hit.
