Happy Bird takes flight at The Fine Line, Bow Churchyard
Indie premium chicken brand Happy Bird has taken flight at The Fine Line in Bow Churchyard, nesting in the kitchen to serve-up the tastiest free-range chicken in London – perfect for accompanying the pub’s great range of craft beers.
The pop-up kitchen has brought an exciting new menu and taste profile to the pub and can be enjoyed in several ways – eat in with your favourite drink from the bar, grab and go from its outdoor food stand for lunch, or order via Deliveroo to have it delivered to your home or office.
What’s on the menu
With wraps, burgers, hot sandwiches, tenders, wings and salads, all accompanied by Happy Bird’s homemade sauces, there’s something for everyone, including vegans and vegetarians.
There are regular specials, sharing platters and a bar food menu complete the offer.

About Happy Bird
Happy Bird got its name from its signature range of free to roam, super high welfare chickens plucked from a small family farm in Yorkshire.
Founder Adam Batty said: “It all starts with the birds – and we genuinely do start with happy ones. We get our chicken from a small family farm in Yorkshire where the standards of animal husbandry are legendary – all the chickens are free to roam outside and are grown for twice as long as regular factory birds. The next stage is to use state of the art pressure fryers to cook the chicken to perfection, every time – this ensures they stay succulent and juicy.
“We have spent a lot of time in the test kitchen developing our menu for this City venue and especially our new range of fantastic sauces so that not only do they accentuate or compliment the flavour of the meat, they also tie in with the Fine Line’s excellent craft beers. We think great beer and epic fried chicken is the perfect pairing.”
