Fuller’s pubs to host Chiswick Beer & Gin Festival 2019

Chiswick pubs The Old Pack Horse, The Pilot and The George IV, have banded together to host the inaugural Chiswick Beer & Gin Festival from 8 to 10 November, where British beers and gins will take centre stage at the pubs, supported by live music, DJs and comedy.

Each pub will host a tap takeover event with a British craft brewery, a gin event with local distiller Sipsmith, and have special food and drink offers and entertainment throughout the weekend.

The festival is a free drop-in event where gin and beer lovers can pop into any of the pubs at any time to try the drinks on offer and enjoy the atmosphere. On arrival, festival-goers can collect the Festival Passport where they can collect stamps for drinks they purchase, entering the draw to win either a tour of Sipsmith Distillery and a gin hamper, or a mixed crate of beer and merchandise.

Fuller’s Chiswick Beer & Gin Festival line-up

A treat for gin & beer lovers

Grace Bailey, General Manager of The Old Pack Horse, said: “The idea for the festival came about because I wanted to think of a way to thank the Chiswick community for their continued support of Fuller’s. I thought a beer and gin festival would be an event our locals would enjoy, and it’s also a great way to unite Fuller’s sister pubs in the local area,” she explained.

“The aim is to help invigorate the local area and remind customers to support great local pubs and products. We hope it will become an annual event.”

Ben Bullman, General Manager of The George IV, said: “When Grace approached me with the idea to team-up for a gin and beer festival I was more than happy to jump on board. It’s going to be a great event for the community that will showcase the great drinks we have on offer, and it’s also a nice way for the three local pubs to work together. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Chiswick Beer & Gin Festival, whether it’s for one day or all three.”
