Christmas light switch on at The Churchill Arms, Kensington
Widely known as London's most festive pub, The Churchill Arms is in a class of its own when it comes to Christmas decorations. Last year the pub had 97 Christmas trees and 21,500 lights, and this year Manager James Keogh aims to beat that!
The official Christmas light switch on will take place on 5 December at 6pm. A special guest will be flicking the switch, and there will be free mulled wine, mince pies and carol singing. Visit Events at The Churchill Arms for more information.
Sipsmith Hot Gin pop-up bar at The Conductor, Farringdon
The Conductor has partnered with Sipsmith to open a pop-up Victorian hot gin bar this festive season, creating an immersive gin experience to warm you up during the colder months.
Beautifully re-modelled with London’s gin heritage at its core, the pop-up bar has been decked out with aged barrels, classic chandeliers and traditional Victorian sipping glasses, and is designed to transport you back to a time of old London for a gin experience fit for the season.
The grand opening took place on Monday 18 November, with the pop-up bar open Monday to Friday from 5pm until 11pm until Christmas eve.
A Christmas Carol at The Gun, Docklands
On 14 December a special performance of A Christmas Carol will take place at The Gun in Docklands. In true Open Book style, the show will be family friendly, engaging and full of laughs. Expect Victorian costumes, ghostly apparitions and plenty of audience participation.

Christmas Drag Brunch at The Fence, Farringdon
Put on your Santa hats and head to The Fence in Farringdon for a late afternoon of bottomless prosecco, Christmas food and the highest energy drag entertainment London has to offer – followed by a DJ set to continue the party into the night.
The host, Dolly Trolley, is one of London's finest drag stars with international acclaim for her lipsync, comedy, dance, campery and sublime ridiculousness.

Christmas comedy at The Anglers, Teddington
Celebrate the festive season at The Anglers in Teddington on 3 December with a special evening of delicious seasonal food, a welcoming glass of prosecco followed by cabaret and comedy – perfect for a pre-Christmas gathering with friends, family or colleagues.

Christmas carols at The Half Moon, Herne Hill
The Half Moon in Herne Hill is hosting Christmas carol events throughout December, which are free to attend for those who want to get into the Christmas spirit by belting out much loved festive tunes.
The Charter School Choir will visit the pub on Thursday 5 December at 5pm to sing Christmas carols, and the Singing Mamas Choir will be carolling at the pub on Thursday 12 December at 6pm and encourage people to join in with the singing. Visit Events at The Half Moon for more information.

Hot Gin shop at The Huntsman, Bath
The Huntsman in Bath will transform into a festive hot gin grotto serving Sipsmith hot gin creations leading up to Christmas. The Hot Gin Shop is open from 27 November until 15 December, coinciding the with the nearby Bath Christmas Markets, and will be open every weekend until Christmas. Christmas at The Old Joint Stock, Birmingham
The Old Joint Stock sits on the doorstep of the famous Birmingham Christmas markets, and is a particularly special time of year at the pub which hosts a plethora of festive events.
