The Fuller's & Shooting Star Chase Cycle Challenge Returns
Fuller’s Pedals Their Way To £55,000 For Shooting Star Chase
This May saw the return of the Fuller’s and Shooting Star Chase cycle Challenge. 40 intrepid cyclists including members of Fuller’s executive board, head office departments and managed pub staff, completed the 130 mile ride from Chiswick to Bath.
Watch their incredible journey below.
Departing from the Griffin Brewery at 6:30am on Friday 12th May, the mixed ability group braved the worst the weather and terrain had to throw at them, as they ventured west.

Along the route were refreshment stops at Fuller’s pubs The Victoria Arms and The Roebuck (in Binfield and Marlborough respectively) 40 miles either side of lunch at The Calleva Arms in Silchester. The final pit-stop for nourishment was Fuller’s family estate, Neston Park.

Our cyclists crossed the finish line outside The Boater, Bath, around 8pm to a warm reception and a well-deserved pint.

Fuller's Chief Executive, Simon Emeny, said:
“The work that Shooting Star Chase does is incredible. It is very humbling and a privilege to be able to work with them and help in any way we can. This Cycle Challenge was no mean feat, none of us are experienced cyclists, but we were all determined, excited and impelled to reach the finish line in good time to enjoy a well-deserved pint and raise a huge amount for this fantastic charity. In its first year, 26 members of the Fuller’s team embarked on the 100 mile journey from the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, to the Pointer on the Isle of White.
