After a lengthy refurbishment, one of London’s hidden gems is finally re-opening its doors to the public on Sunday 13th May 2018.

Led by General Manager, Jean-Paul Toerien, the team at The Gun in Docklands have been hard at work behind the scenes to prepare for the pub’s re-launch - aiming to dazzle the public as this historic riverside pub opens for business once more.

While bringing The Gun up to superb modern standards, great care has been taken to maintain the pub’s history and heritage - so long-cherished features including the open fires and wooden panelling of the Cabin Room still remain.

Of course, the pub’s stunning views across the Thames are still there too - with incredible vistas of the O2 and Greenwich on offer from the terrace and three beautiful private dining rooms.

The building itself has had a lick of paint, new furniture and upholstery - but make no mistake this is still the same Gun that Docklands locals all know and love.

 The great outdoors

Aside from tidying up the pub’s interior, there’s been a complete remodelling of The Gun’s Gin Garden. The old bar has been knocked down and completely rebuilt, and a dedicated kitchen has been created outside to provide a superb alfresco experience for diners and drinkers alike.

A special Gin & Tonic menu has ben created too, with carefully selected garnishes matching each individual gin. What better way to relax after work, with summer just around the corner?

Work has been carried out to the pub’s trio of dining rooms too, cementing The Gun’s reputation as one of the best function venues in Docklands. With private dining, business meetings and wedding packages all available, it’s the perfect place to mark every kind of occasion.
