Lock, Stock and Barrel reopens

The Lock Stock and Barrel, a popular, traditional pub situated right on the bank of the River Kennet, reopened for business yesterday following refurbishment.

Widely regarded as one of the best pubs in Newbury, the refurbishment has seen the pub retain its traditional pub feel with a few modern touches, creating a light and airy space perfect for relaxing by the river.

The newly renovated terrace and patio seating area offers unrivalled views of the canal. The significant investment in the kitchen has produced a new menu of fresh, home-made pub food now with a modern twist.



The bar is well stocked with a great array of beers, including London Pride and our new wave craft lager, Frontier. There's also a wide variety of wines and spirits, including regularly changing cocktails.
