We love a good station watering hole, and the Grand Central in Brighton is no different.

Conveniently located next to Brighton Railway Station, the pub’s recent extensive refurbishment has restored the building to its pre-war glory.

The bar is well stocked with award-winning real ales, craft beers and Old and New World wines. The new menu serves up some of the best pub food in Brighton for breakfast, lunch and dinner, cooked by passionate chefs from top quality fresh ingredients.

Upstairs at the Grand Central is The Nightingale Room, containing a gin bar and theatre that will play host to first class plays, music and comedy events right through the year.

Tom Tucker, General Manager, said: “It’s really exciting being part of a new pub opening. It’s been a busy few months and we are all looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors. The Grand Central is an iconic space in Brighton not just for dining, but also for enjoying a relaxing drink with friends and family."

“Not only do we have our main bar downstairs, but upstairs the Nightingale Room boasts one of Brighton’s most vibrant and top quality entertainment calendars. From jazz to comedy, cabaret to world premiere plays, you’ll discover a smorgasbord of diversions at the Nightingale Room. This intimate venue has a house pianist and even has its own specialist gin bar raising the quality of our gin and tonic to a height not seen in Brighton before. The spirit of the speakeasy lives on. Cosy logfires in winter and one of Brighton’s best suntrap terraces in summer. The Grand Central is a great place to celebrate, or indeed escape, all year round.”
