Best Pubs to enjoy the Easter Weekend

We kicked-off Easter this year with a panto tour across 12 of our pubs and welcomed The Bridge House Theatre company performing their colourful and hilarious performance of Mother Goose. The perfect family treat for the Easter holidays.

The Hampshire Hog, Waterlooville promise a bank holiday Friday with a bang as they welcome back their resident Drag Queen hosting another dazzling evening of fun – this time an Easter themed quiz night with prizes to be won.

For music lovers head to The Heroes, Waterlooville on Friday 7th April to dance on down with Misdirected, an energetic, fun-loving band playing funk, soul, rock and pop. Meanwhile The Old Pack Horse, Chiswick will welcome a guest DJ playing the best old skool chart toppers. If Saturday is your night to party, then head to The Hare & Hounds for live acoustic musicians who will be bringing all the Easter weekend vibes to Osterley.
And what better way to relax on Easter Sunday than with an evening of Jazz at The Old Fish Market, Bristol, the perfect setting for drinks with friends – and a roast served until 9.30pm!
Fancy a bit of magic? Head down to The Drayton Court, Ealing for ‘The Conjuring at The Court show’ on Friday 7th April, including a terrific line up full of variety with the multi-talented Max Somerset, an expert magician and Musician, social media star magician, Neil Henry, clever deception from Paul Megram and the extraordinary vaudeville perform, Norvil.
On Easter Sunday itself there will be a Golden egg hunt and petting zoo with We're hosting Ealing's biggest Egg Hunt in their enormous garden, and a farmyard petting zoo courtesy of Rocky's Animals, as they treat the youngsters to an eggcelent, eggstravagant, eggstravaganza!

The Mill, Elstead are busy preparing for their Easter Fayre on Good Friday featuring stalls including fabulous cakes, jewellery, dog accessories, and many other local suppliers. Free entry, 10am to 3pm. Whilst The Prince Blucher, Twickenham are gearing up for a weekend of fun with games in the garden to celebrate Easter. Take part in an Ester egg hunt, spoon and egg race or a wheelbarrow race to get your competitive juices flowing!
On the big day itself, Sunday 9th April The Cromwell Arms, Romsey invite you to join them in their marquee for a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. ‘Em’s friendly Farm’ will be joining then with adorable baby animals ready for an Easter cuddle and Kiddie’s Heaven will be there to paint Easter-themed faces whilst David Seyforth will be supplying the entertainment with a magic show and balloon animal art.

Back up in Twickenham, The Prince Albert will be serving up their very finest Thai food for those who want to break the norm on the day, or fancy something different before the big roast! Delight your senses while the kids are invited to take part in their Easter egg scavenger hunt in the back garden from 1 – 5pm plus professional face painting, to turn your afternoon colourful!
If you’re looking to relax while the kids keep busy then head down to The Mason’s Arms, Battersea, The Barrel & Horn, Bromley and The George IV, Chiswick where the Kid’s table will be there entertaining the kids with a host of creative Easter arts and crafts.
