New beers by Fuller’s Brewery
What better way to celebrate Beer Day Britain than by drinking a brand-new, limited-edition beer?
The following seasonal beers have been brewed by Fuller’s Brewery in Chiswick, London, and are available at your local Fuller’s pub for a limited time. If you have your heart set on a particular beer from this list, we advise calling the pub you intend to visit in advance to make sure they have it available.
Here are five great new beers to try this beer day.
Sticky Wicket, Tropical Australian Pale Ale
Inspired by cricket's oldest rivalry, Sticky Wicket was first brewed in collaboration with Australian brewer Stone & Wood in the lead up to the 2013 Ashes series. Pale gold in colour and brewed with a unique blend of ingredients from England and Australia, Sticky Wicket is a refreshing 4.7% ABV beer.
The blend of English Pale Ale and Munich malt gives the beer a crisp, fresh flavour. The Australian Topaz hop adds a resinous grassy flavour with hints of lychee, while the Ella hop brings a tropical grapefruit flavour and a subtle spicy finish.
Hop Tropic, Juicy Golden Ale
Hop Tropic is a 4.5% ABV Golden Ale that has been made using some of the fruitiest new world hop varieties on the planet. In addition to this, real mango and pineapple juice has been added to the brew for a beer bursting with juicy fruit flavours. This fruitiness is beautifully balanced with a gentle hop bitterness and a biscuity background from the malt bill.
Love on the Run, Session IPA
Woodstock Brewery from Cape Town visited Fuller's Brewery for the Fuller's & Friends project and Love on the Run Session IPA was born.
This hop-forward IPA is the perfect marriage of London town and Cape Town. The African Queen hop and native African cereal Sorgham are combined with British Olicana and Bramling Cross hops. Fresh blackcurrant and lemongrass aromas offset a dry, earthy malt base in what is a very sessionable 5.0% ABV IPA.

Kroke, Herbal Lager
Another Fuller’s & Friends collaboration, Mack Brewery from Norway and Fuller's Brewery made a Herbal Lager together.
Named after the Norse word for ‘Crowberries’, the sloes came fresh from the Arctic Circle and gave the lager a slight tartness to offset its sweet, honeyed notes. Learning from Viking tradition, dried meadowsweet was used to add a slight bitterness to the crisp, 5.0% ABV pale gold lager.

Misprized, Oaked Mild
Magic Rock Brewery from Huddersfield teamed-up with Fuller's to make an Oaked Mild for the Fuller's & Friends project.
In a celebration of this classic English style, they’ve tweaked a traditional recipe from 1920 by adding rum barrel oak chips to give a sweet, nutty depth of flavour. Overall, it’s a rich, malty masterpiece (and that’s putting it mildly). Misprized is 4.5% ABV.
