A new start for The Swan

The Swan Hotel in Staines, Middlesex, has just re-opened following a major six-week refurbishment, with visitors finally able to enjoy the pub’s fresh new style.

Work has been carried out across all the pub’s main areas, with a smart new look for the main bar and dining area drawing inspiration from life on the river. A private dining/function room has been created too, promising one of Hampshire’s best country venues for a group get-together.

The hotel bedrooms, meanwhile, have been given a complete overhaul. The new-look rooms adopt a rustic, country aesthetic that balances traditional charm with contemporary features, while four brand new bedrooms have been added to take the total to 19.

Even The Swan’s outdoor terrace has had a facelift. New sliding doors from the restaurant now lead straight out onto the patio area, bringing a beautiful ‘inside out’ feel to this charming inn - and making the most of a stunning riverside location.

Fabulous Food, Drink And Functions

An upgrade for The Swan’s kitchen means visitors to the new-look pub can expect finer food than ever. Head Chef Richard Atkinson and his team craft everything from crowd-pleasing classics to social sharers and tasty grills here - all freshly prepared from the finest seasonal produce around.

If you’re just looking for liquid refreshment, you’ll find The Swan’s bar well stocked with cask ales, craft beers and exceptional international imports - with new premium brews added to the bar during the refurb.

And if you’re celebrating a special occasion, all that fabulous food and drink can be enjoyed in one of The Swan’s exciting new function spaces. Whether it’s the spacious Pen Room, the intimate Cygnet Bar or the Riverside Restaurant (all available for private hire), an event at The Swan is sure to live long in the memory.
