Made of London Spotlight - The Meat Curer

Cannon & Cannon are a London meat curing company using age-old techniques to create a range of cured meats, all sourced in Britain.

We met them to sample the Suffolk chorizo, Cornish salami and try to convince them to make a Blackfriars black pudding.

What makes a Londoner?

Acceptance. Londoners are open to new things; they're not closed minded.

When have you been proudest of London?

I think the Olympics in 2012 was just an amazing time! Everything worked, people came together, it felt like a great time to be British.

How have you come to be in business in London?

London has a very exciting food community. Londoners are open to new food experiences so this is where I decided to begin.
