Ale and pie

At Fuller’s, we’re nothing if not true to our London roots, which is why the capital’s classic dish – pie and mash – will always be close to our hearts.

We’ve dedicated a collection of our finest pubs to the provision of perfect pies, with our savoury pastries considered some of the very best in Britain. Always fresh, they are individually hand-made on site, and filled to the brim with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

Each of our Ale & Pie pubs has its own signature pie on the menu - hare pie at The Jugged Hare in Victoria, but thankfully not blackbird pie at The Blackbird in Earl’s Court - alongside a range of other delicious dishes. You can also try a tempting taster board, which matches three mini pies to a trio of perfectly matched ale samples.

After all, it’s our belief that every pie should be partnered with a pint. That’s why our Ale & Pie pubs always have at least four Fuller’s cask ales on draught plus a huge range of bottles behind the bar.

Special settings

It’s not just the food, or even the beer, that makes the Fuller’s Ale & Pie experience so special. The pubs themselves promise a unique, spectacular and brilliantly British atmosphere.

They’re all former banks, refurbished in stunning style - so you can expect vaulted ceilings, ornate chandeliers and plenty of imposing original features.

Check out The Red Lion on Parliament Street, a pub that’s served many a British Prime Minister, and The Admiralty on Trafalgar Square – London’s most central pub. The Old Bank of England is another gem to discover in the capital, and further afield, The Old Joint Stock in Birmingham is a remarkable place that even boasts its own theatre.
