The Anglers, Teddington reopens following a significant refurbishment

Fuller, Smith & Turner, the premium pub and hotel operator, is delighted to announce The Anglers in Teddington has reopened with a fresh new look throughout the pub and garden. The Anglers has been closed since New Year’s Day and has undergone a huge transformation in this time. Since January, General Manager Ben Walton has contributed greatly to the project – which re-opened its doors on Tuesday 7 May.

The Anglers is a stunning 18th Century riverside pub with a wonderful Thames-side garden. The impressive refurbishment sees a new bar, a large, state-of-the art kitchen, a beautiful garden and a new first floor function room that can be hired for private events – plus a delicious new menu and a widened selection of drinks available. It will also see the return of its popular events such as the pub quiz and comedy nights.

Jonathon Swaine, Managing Director of Fuller’s, said: “I’m really excited about the opening of The Anglers – it’s a fantastic pub in a great location. As a historic building, it needed a bit of love and care. We’ve injected a new lease of life in to this beautiful pub. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the outer walls of the building – everything else has been updated and it looks incredible. Ben is a great leader for our pub, he’s well-loved by locals and I can’t wait to see what he and his team have planned for the future.”
