All Aboard The Admiralty
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C., the London brewer and premium pub company, is delighted to announce the opening of The Admiralty on Trafalgar Square. The official opening took place yesterday (Tuesday 21 October) - Trafalgar Day – by the Rt Hon the Lord West of Spithead. In true naval tradition, Admiral Lord West smashed a bottle of London Pride outside the pub to mark its opening.
Right at the heart of London’s tourist trap and the only pub on the world-famous Trafalgar Square, the pub is set over three grand floors, with the ground level particularly popular for its fantastic views of Trafalgar Square.
The Admiralty is the latest addition to Fuller’s Ale and Pie collection, serving up an authentic taste of the capital. The chefs specialise in delicious hand-crafted pies –fresh short crust pastry filled to the brim with a range of delicious combinations - served with tasty mash and gravy. There is also a tasting board, featuring three marvellous mini-pies and three matched samples of ale, for those customers wishing to try more than just one. The rest of the food menu boasts traditional favourites too, including beer-battered fish and chips, hearty sausage and mash, and a delicious Hampshire-sourced steak burger. Daily specials are also available.
Located just 6 miles from Fuller’s home in Chiswick, The Admiralty is one of the best stocked bars in central London, with Fuller’s famous real ales served up alongside craft lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
The pub was named in honour of the location and the naval hero it overlooks. The only London pub to be themed on HMS Victory, The Admiralty calls for all hands on deck. The upper deck comprises of a comfortable seating area and the exclusive ward room, the ground floor provides a main bar, and down below there is a stunning vaulted gun deck.
