Frog & Wicket Becomes #MyDadsPub

This Father’s Day was extra special for one Dad.

Since May 27th, Fuller’s have been inviting the public to nominate the Dad in their lives to win a one-of-a-kind prize: their very own pub.

The campaign, named ‘My Dad’s Pub’,  gave children and partners the chance to create a bespoke pub swing sign featuring the Dad in their lives that they believed deserved to win his very own pub for the day.

Every entrant won two free pints of beer, while hundreds of images were shared to Facebook and Twitter.

The Lucky Winner

The deserving Dad was fireman Derren Martin, whose son Jamie nominated him to win the Frog & Wicket in Eversley Cross because:

“My dad's a fireman hero who's dedicated his life to serving the public and saving lives. All Heroes deserve a day off in their own pub.”

The prize itself included a custom printed pub swing sign, on display at the winning pub until it’s taken home by the Dad of the day, as well as a signature menu to suit the winner’s tastes, and a meal for their family.

Derren’s menu included a Sunday roast to meet his two favourite things, “meat and beer.”

Our Favourite Entries

While Derren was a very worthy winner, we had a difficult time choosing just one lucky Dad. Here are a few of our favourite entries.
