All Change At The Barrowboy & Banker

All Change at The Barrowboy & Banker

London Bridge locals and Borough Market tourists rejoice - The Barrowboy & Banker is back.

Almost three months after closing for refurbishment, the famous Fuller’s pub is open for business once more, boasting a stunning new look, an evolved menu and a brand new dining room perfect for private events.

Overseen by General Manager James Brown, the refurbishment has seen a complete remodelling of the main bar, with traditional charm, modern style and original features combining to fabulous effect.

Stroll through the imposing double doors of the old bank building and you’ll find leather booths and exposed brickwork lending a wonderfully rustic feel to the place - with the previous sports-viewing areas now giving way to smart, sociable dining spaces.

A Pie, A Pint, And More

The new-look pub remains very much part of the ale and pie concept, and is still one of the best places in the city to enjoy a proper pie and a pint.

But there’s much more on offer at the new Barrowboy and Banker too, with a main menu that also features fresh seasonal favourites, and a wide-ranging drinks list that extends to craft beers and bespoke gins.

Nowhere is the new experience better savoured than in the pub’s new dining room, which offers superb views over Southwark Cathedral. Perfect for a Sunday lunch or an elegant evening meal, it’s also ideal for special celebrations - available for private hire for up to 58 people.
