With a number of our London pubs dedicated Ale and Pie emporiums, it’s only right that we put time and effort into perfecting our own pastry.
So in all our Ale & Pie Houses, we bake fresh short crust and suet crust pies to a trusted recipe that’s been refined over the generations.
As for our hearty fillings, we choose very specific cuts of meat to cook long and slow at low temperature – ensuring succulent and satisfying tenderness with every bite. Savour classic fillings like Steak and Ale (naturally laced with a generous glug of Fuller’s ESB), Fisherman’s Pie and a Somerset Brie and Sweet Potato for vegetarians.
