British Sausage Week is from 26 October to 1 November this year and is all about celebrating one of the Nation's favourite dishes – and boy, do we have some great bangers for you to try!

Fuller's is getting amongst the action by showcasing delicious premium sausage dishes by our talented chefs, using bespoke sausages made by our friends at Owton's Butchers – our hand-picked supplier from Hampshire.

Expect the best bangers and mash you’ve ever tasted, as well as sumptuous sausage-themed bar snacks, sharers and sausage rolls at your local Fuller’s pub.

Introducing Owton’s Butchers – our sausage experts

The selection of sausages on offer at Fuller's pubs are made exclusively by Hampshire's best-loved local family butchers, Owton’s Butchers

Founded in 1976 at Chalcroft farm by Rob and Gill Owton, Owton’s Traditional Family Butchers has established itself as one of the premier wholesale butchers and farm shop proprietors in the country. In 1978 Chalcroft farm shop began producing its own sausages and at the inaugural Hampshire Fair regional food and drink festival in 2002 they won the Supreme Sausage award.

What’s on the menu for UK Sausage Week

Fuller’s pubs will host a range of sausage dishes available on the Signature menus from Monday 26 October. Each pub will be doing something different to celebrate the great British sausage. Here’s a taste of what you can expect.

Main courses include, an autumnal pork and pumpkin sausage and a classic Lincolnshire sausage with mash and gravy. Or you can even try sausages made with a favourite Fuller's beer, London Pride combined with wholegrain mustard.

Another great plate of bangers is the Corporal Jones Wartime recipe pork sausage, named after the Dads army butcher. This dish won the Iconic Sausage category in the British Sausage week Awards in 2012. The prestigious awards ceremony was organised by the Q Guild of Butchers at Butchers Hall in London and was hosted by broadcaster and food critic Jay Rayner.

If you can’t decide on one sausage in particular, the pork sharing board offers a selection of Owton’s bespoke sausages to taste, alongside pork scratchings, Fuller's black pudding Scotch egg and pork, apple and Cornish Orchards sausage roll.
