2013 was a year that saw winter barleys fare better than spring varieties. Our brewers were particularly impressed by the Pearl malt from grain supplier Muntons – a malt which translated into one of our biggest-palate Vintage Ales to date.
The Pearl malt combines with spicy Admiral and fruity Sovereign hops to give the 2013 Vintage Ale a deep, rich palate - overlaid with cinnamon, pineapple and marmalade notes.
The ultimate beer for a decadent dessert
Golen amber in colour with aromas and flavours of nuts, toffee, caramel and fruit (particularly orange). Its full body will match the dense texture of the pudding with the beers' sweetness complementing the toffee and the overall sweetness in the dessert.
