Vintage Ale 2002

A golden memory

2002 saw our series turn five years old, but the Queen was celebrating a much more impressive milestone. Fifty years on the throne – her Golden Jubilee – remembered with this golden themed vintage from Fuller’s.

Crowning glory

Though the beer itself is a copper coloured pour, the ingredients of our 2002 Vintage Ale are undeniably golden. We used Goldings hops and Golden Promise malt, to produce a beer worthy of royal approval.

Brewer's Notes

The 2002 Vintage sees a fruity, orange peel aroma give way to a spicy, satisfying taste.

Food Pairing

The ultimate beer for a decadent dessert

Golen amber in colour with aromas and flavours of nuts, toffee, caramel and fruit (particularly orange). Its full body will match the dense texture of the pudding with the beers' sweetness complementing the toffee and the overall sweetness in the dessert.

A spirited celebration
