Following the previous year’s foray into organic ingredients, the 2001 vintage bought us back to brewing tradition. Produced on a limited run, it’s one of the rarest, most sought-after vintage ales in the series.
A rare treasure
Only 30,000 bottles of our 2001 Vintage Ale were ever produced – but that’s not the only reason the beer is so desirable. It’s a classic Fuller’s brew, using Maris Otter barley malt for a real taste of tradition.
Pouring a wonderful golden colour, the 2001 Vintage Ale delivers a lingering bitterness, full of flavour.
The ultimate beer for a decadent dessert
Golen amber in colour with aromas and flavours of nuts, toffee, caramel and fruit (particularly orange). Its full body will match the dense texture of the pudding with the beers' sweetness complementing the toffee and the overall sweetness in the dessert.

Hidden in the cellars of Griffin Brewery, twenty fine cognac casks sat silently for a year. Inside them wasn’t brandy, but beer – Fuller’s Brewer’s Reserve No.2 – slowly but surely absorbing luxurious flavours from the solid oak surroundings.
