Brewing up a storm
1998 saw a rare tornado whip through Southern England – and at the Griffin Brewery, our chief brewers were busy brewing up a storm of their own. Champion Alexis malt and Champion Northdown hops combined to form this supreme vintage, which continues to get better with age.
The blend of malt and hops brings beautiful balance to the 1998 Vintage Ale, a warming, creamy ale with just a gentle hint of sweetness.
The ultimate beer for a decadent dessert
Golen amber in colour with aromas and flavours of nuts, toffee, caramel and fruit (particularly orange). Its full body will match the dense texture of the pudding with the beers' sweetness complementing the toffee and the overall sweetness in the dessert.
