Fast Track to Pub Management

Would you like to be managing your own pub within 2/3 years? Then this is the graduate programme for you.

This 2/3 year programme will give you everything you need to manage one of our unique, quality pubs. Whilst every pub or inn with rooms is proudly individual, our focus on delivering the highest quality remains the same. You will build the expertise required to deliver Delicious Fresh Food, Outstanding Cask Conditioned Ales, Great wines and Engaging Service.

Our carefully designed programme begins in October each year. The programme consists of a number of placements in our pubs, where you will rapidly work your way up from a team member to supervisor and then to assistant manager. In each pub you will be coached and developed by one of our highly successful pub managers, many of whom have worked their way up through our business.

At the end of the prgramme you could be managing your very own business with a turnover in excess of £1 million per year.

Training & Development

Alongside your placements a structured development programme will ensure you gain a solid understanding of what creates a successful pub. You can expect to spend two or three days each month attending training workshops and development programmes where you will build the creative flair, leadership and commercial drive to lead a challenging business.

Whilst your placement pub manager focuses on your day-to-day development, your Graduate Programme leader will manage your placement rotations and support you to achieve your overall potential.

About You

Only those with a genuine passion for hospitality need apply! Regardless of your degree subject those with experience within the Hospitality, Leisure or Retail sector, will be strong contenders for our programme.

You will have the entrepreneurial skills to develop a business and an absolute passion for delivering ‘Engaging Service’ and creating a great customer experience. You will also have the potential to lead a large team and the business acumen to successfully manage budgets. You must be able to work across London and the South-East.

  • Final interview with an Operations Director
