WELCOME TO OUR HOSPITALITY GRADUATE PROGRAMME

Launched in 2011, our Hospitality Graduate Programme offers a truly unique opportunity to gain a full and well-rounded progression through our Pub business.

It is designed to train, challenge and develop you, as our General Managers of the future, on every aspect of managing a Fuller’s business, and its people. Whilst every Pub or Pub with rooms is proudly individual, our focus on delivering the highest quality in our Four Pillars remains the same, and you will build expertise in all of these things; Outstanding Cask Conditioned Ales, Delicious Fresh Food, Great wines and Engaging Service.

You will develop a solid understanding of what creates a successful pub, and build the skills to drive a Fuller’s business through quality, creativity and commercial flair. What’s more, within 2 years, you could be managing your very own business, with a turnover in excess of £1 million. That’s real responsibility!

The 2012 programme commences in October 2012. Applications for our 2012 intake will open in January 2012.

Training is tailor-made to meet individual needs, but here’s the journey you can expect:

  • Recruitment Assessment day
  • Coming on Board (full induction period in a dedicated training house)
  • Developing your skills (a great balance of support courses and practical experience)
  • Joining the Management Trainee Programme (6-9 months of modular learning through tutored workshops, projects and in-house experience)
  • Putting it into Practice (finessing skills, carrying out holds or reliefs, preparing for your 1st appointment)
  • Building your Career (Becoming a General Manager. Building on your Fuller’s career)

    Candidates must be educated to degree level, ideally gained within a relevant discipline. However regardless of your degree subject, those with proven knowledge and experience within the Hospitality, Leisure or Retail sector, will be strong contenders for our programme.
