The Chequers is a 400-year old traditional pub with a low ceiling and log fires. It has an excellent reputation for freshly prepared food, a wide range of Fuller's ales and a great selection of wines. There is also a more modern, light conservatory at the rear of the pub. The Chequers is a great place for a beer and a chat.
