Calleva Arms

Well known locally for its warm welcome, first class beer (a regular in many a good beer guide) and good honest pub food, should you stumble accross the Calleva Arms you will be very happy indeed. This a delightful country pub, overlooking the village common and close to the Roman ruins. There are two menus to choose from - at lunchtime you must try the baguettes and salads, they are quite superb, or in the evening the choice is more varied with some great specials. If this was not enough, then outside there is a large mature garden. which is perfect for warm summer evenings.
