When you visit a Fuller's pub which has been awarded Master Cellarman status you can be safe in the knowledge that the beer they serve is in the best possible condition. As fresh and as tasty as the day it left the Brewery.

To achieve the accolade of Master Cellarman, licensees have to attain and then sustain a score of over 95% in four visits from the Fuller’s Beer Quality Team throughout the year.

Cellar hygiene and dispense equipment, including everything from barrel to glass, are thoroughly inspected. A sample of beer is taken away for analysis, to ensure that the customer is being given the best of the best.

Below is a current list of Fuller's pubs which have gained Master Cellarman status. Each year Fuller's crowns its 'Master Cellarman of the Year' and the 2012 winner was Bryan Walsh of The Harpenden Arms (pictured centre, with Fuller's Head Brewer John Keeling and Technical Services Manager Emma Watts).

If reaching Master Cellarman status is a landmark for all Fuller’s publicans, then earning the title of Master Cellarman of the Year is the ultimate accolade.
