MANAGEMENT TRAINEE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Our assistant managers are of course the managers of the future, and we invest time and training to coach and develop them.

Entrance onto the Training scheme involves a one day assessment centre, which is used toasess your level of skill and experience, and also to highlight some areas for development. The final candidates are then selected for the programme, and a formal training plan createdfor each individual. For those who may not reach the required levelfor our fast track programme, an action plan for further support and training would be developed, so they are ready for the next assessment.

HOW IT WORKS
The majority of our training is carried out in-house, which we believe is the greatest form of learning - how else can you train in a business where no two days are ever the same! In addition to practical experience, our trainees attend a series of practical and theory based workshops to further increase knowledge of all areas of the business.

The management training programme covers the bar and catering functions, with various levels that can be achieved at a pace to suit the individual and the needs of the business. Training, coaching and assessment takes place at each level and a certificate of achievement issued.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The whole programme is adaptable to your individual needs, although we would expect you to complete in around nine months. Essentially, it’s entirely down to you, your drive, your enthusiasm and skill.
